Babygirl is a work that emphasises the communicative aspect of contemporary relationships, their boundaries and leaves room for the interpretation of reliance in the context of relationships. It provokes and raises questions about the dangers of surrendering and whether it necessarily means that, or is it just a kind of healthy reliance on another person. Communication in the relationship and the structure that is presented through two roles - superior and inferior, opens the door to the interpretation of all forms of dependence.  Using a stretcher (a hybrid form of baby Bjorn and body sex swing) Anastasija creates a physical connection that exists between individuals, emphasising obsessive and unhealthy relationships. Is it easier for us when someone else gives us everything that we are not able to provide for ourselves?- Dunja Petković, curator
